IECEP conferred its very first batch of Fellows this 2023 during Day 2 of the recently concluded 73rd AGM and Convention 2023.
According to the IECEP Constitution and By-Laws, Charters Members, Life Members, and/or Members may be nominated to this grade upon recommendation of the Memberships, Organizational Development and Chapters Committee (MODCC) to the Board of Directors. A maximum of Five (5) may be conferred the grade of Fellow in a year. Article 6, Section 2 also details the qualifications required. Recommendations from various committees and members of the Board were consulted for its listing including that of the Corporate and External Relations Committee chaired by Vice President for External Affairs, Engr. Benjz Gerard M. Sevilla, as well as the contents of the citation.

As stated on the plaque:

GRADE CONFERMENT

is granted

NAME

for having been qualified as a FELLOW of the Institute,
a membership graded awarded only to eligible and duly qualified
ELECTRONICS PROFESSIONALS

whose unwavering dedication to the upliftment of the profession,
and to the advancement of the electronics engineering discipline
in line with the mission, vision and objectives of the Institute,
have brought significant honor and prestige to the organization and the country.

As such, the above-named is admitted as FELLOW,
and enjoined to sustain the electronics engineering practice,
with integrity, responsibility and commitment to life-long observance of
the tenets of the Constitution and By Laws of the Institute.

As duly approved by the National Board of Directors, and subsequently concurred by the above-named, this upgrade is effective xth day of Month 2023.

The MODCC chaired by Vice President for Internal Affairs, Dr. Ira Estropia were present during the awarding of the fellows where she was joined by President Engr. Lyle Anthony Jowill G. Villas and Secretary General Engr. Kris Andrew B. Trinidad.
The first set of fellows in alphabetical order include Charter Members, Engr. Edgardo Cabarios, Engr. Emmanuel Lazaro Estrada, Engr. Fortunato Perlas, Dr. Cynthia Posadas and Dr. Rosula S.J. Reyes.
